We played a session with the Omen group again!
Omen is the name our DM has given the crew of characters we used to play the All Soul’s Night one-shot from before! It’s a great go-to for one-shot sessions when we can’t get EVERYONE together for our normal games.
Today our party included:
Seth, the wheelchair-bound rogue and street-rat
Snaketongue, the mage-priest whose lisp makes all his spells a little unpredictable
Sa’ida, bard by class and dominatrix by trade
and Chester, the 5’ barbarian girl with short-term memory loss.
—-
So in this one we got thrown in jail.
It was basically Snaketongue’s fault, since he’d cast a spell that had the unfortunate/unintended side effect of getting us all stuck speaking a foreign language, which made us unable to explain ourselves to the police, so you know how it goes.
Snaketongue was all in favour of just waiting until the spell wore off, but everyone else was like “MAN I got places to BE, and we’re totally innocent so whatever,” so Seth picked the lock and everyone else escaped (after Chester offered to carry Seth’s wheelchair down the stairs). Snaketongue stayed behind. To, y’know, ACTUALLY FOLLOW THE LAW, which usually frowns upon breaking out of jail.

Seth, for some reason, decided to rectify this and sent Chester back to grab Snaketongue, asking her “Don’t you remember? He told you to carry him out here no matter how much he complains! >3 ” and so Snaketongue was thrown over her shoulder and broken out of jail against his will.

Then we remembered that Chester is 5-foot-nothing and Snaketongue is like six feet tall, and it was much more hilarious and required being illustrated.
